Восстановление работы Web-интерфейса системы хранения данных IBM Storwize V3700

Привет всем читателям. Сегодня от меня статья непосредственно по администрированию и по железкам. В общем недавно случилось так, что “свалился” Web-интерфейс управления системы хранения данных IBM Storwize V3700. Я был очень сильно удивлен этому. За много лет использования, никогда такой проблемы не возникало.

В качестве web-сервера у данного СХД используется tomcat server. ну и по логике вещей, раз упал web-интерфейс, первоочередное необходимо перезапустить этот веб-сервер. Делается это на master nodes (конфигурирующая нода).

Чтобы нам это сделать, необходимо подконнектиться к СХД через SSH. Я использую для этого PuTTY. При коннекте Вас попросит ввести логин и пароль. Подключаться необходимо под пользователем superuser. Если подключиться под любой другой дочерней учеткой, вам скажет, что недостаточно прав. В общем залогинились.

Но перезапустить службу tomcat не так-то просто. Это не как в debian, ввел команду и всё. Для начала нам необходимо выяснить panel_name. Делается это командой, которая выводит нам список нод.

sainfo lsservicenodes
После выполнения команды, у Вас появится такая информация. Нас интересует первая колонка panel_name.
Теперь необходимо выяснить какая из нод (nodes) является конфигурирующей, так называемым мастером. Синтаксис команды выглядит так:
sainfo lsservicestatus [panel_name]
И теперь к реальным условия. Panel_name я у себя взял первую из списка, и не промахнулся. Вводим команду:
sainfo lsservicestatus 01-2
Получаем информацию как на скриншоте (это только часть). Нас интересует строчка config_node Yes. Если ввести ещё раз команду но с другим panel_name, то config_node будет стоять “No”. Смотрите скриншот.
А теперь самое интересное. нам нужно просто перезапустить службу tomcat. Делается через satask. Набираем просто команду, чтобы посмотреть, что нам доступно:
satask
И к моему удивлению, есть только startservice и stopservice. Фигня какая то получается. Ибем на сайт IBM и начинаем искать restartservice. Находим ТЫК и читаем. Вроде становится всё понятно. Для перезапуска tomcat на главной ноде вводим команду и радуемся
satask restartservice -service tomcat 01-2
Единственное немного надо подождать. Web-интерфейс поднимается не сразу. Вот скриншот нескольких действий описанных выше.
Ну и немного подождав уже окончательно радуемся жизни, когда попросит ввести логин и пароль.
P.S. Может многие будут говорить, что не тру админ, и юзаю web-интерфейс вместо CLI, но у IBM этот CLI настолько недружелюбный, что превращается просто в какое то наказание. По этому он мне не нравится, и я его не использую. Хотя без проблем пользуюсь CLI в Debian и коммутаторах D-Link. А вот пример HELP в СХД IBM. Это пипец:
